Dr. Schu­mach­er is one of the largest man­u­fac­tur­ers in Europe of dis­in­fec­tants, hygiene prod­ucts, and skin­care prod­ucts designed for use in hos­pi­tals, med­ical prac­tices, and care homes, as well as moist wipes for child care, per­son­al hygiene, cos­met­ics, and house­hold use.

The vision of Dr. Schumacher company

The idea of ​​pro­duc­ing indi­vid­ual dis­in­fec­tion and hygiene prod­ucts with a wide range of appli­ca­tions emerged to meet cus­tomer needs, mak­ing the pro­posed solu­tions well-received from the very begin­ning. The deci­sion to intro­duce these prod­ucts to the mar­ket as pri­vate label or OEM prod­ucts proved to be a sen­si­ble and ground­break­ing deci­sion. The knowl­edge of Dr. Schu­mach­er GmbH at the time has borne and con­tin­ues to bring enor­mous ben­e­fits.

The history, development, and location of Dr. Schumacher company

The com­pa­ny is head­quar­tered in a rur­al loca­tion in Mals­feld, in north­ern Hesse.

In three pro­duc­tion facil­i­ties (Ger­many, Poland, and Turkey), over 1850 employ­ees work, man­u­fac­tur­ing prod­ucts for sup­pli­ers of health­care and cos­met­ic prod­ucts both in Ger­many and world­wide.

In the new pro­duc­tion facil­i­ty in Poland, cov­er­ing an area of approx­i­mate­ly 50,000 m², over 50 pro­duc­tion lines oper­ate around the clock. Each year, approx­i­mate­ly 21,000 tons of skin and hand dis­in­fec­tants, med­ical prod­ucts, and sur­face dis­in­fec­tants are pro­duced, as well as over 250 mil­lion pack­ages of moist wipes.

Dis­tri­b­u­tion cen­ters in eight coun­tries ensure deliv­er­ies to over 70 coun­tries world­wide.
